Thanks to everyone for the encouragement yesterday. I really needed it. This morning, I wad digging through some old papers and found two Bible verses I had written on note cards months ago. The two verses are John 16:33 and 2 Corinthians 12:10.

John 16:33 says, "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world, you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome to world."

2 Corinthians 12:10 says, "Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I weak, then I am strong."

The first verse reminded me of how no matter what, I'm always going to struggle in this life. I should not get discouraged because Christ overcame this world. If I continue to live for Him, I will have peace. The second verse reminded me that even when I do live for Christ, I am still going to have trouble. In my weakness, I still have strength. That strength comes from Christ.

Today I am going to a job interview. The 2010 Census Bureau is hiring in my town. I hope and pray that I am able to get this job. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Thanksgiving

OK! So Thanksgiving is coming up! I'm assuming most of you are on Thanksgiving break from school, about to travel to see family, etc. Here are Thanksgiving questions:

1. What are you most thankful for?
I'm thankful for all of the new people and new experiences I've had this year.

2. Who cooks for Thanksgiving at your house?
At my house it's my mom. This year I'm going to help out with some of the cooking.

3. Who thinks frying a turkey is not only dangerous, but stupid, lol.
*raises hand* OK, maybe fried turkey tastes good, but I have never seen a turkey fried successfully without the entire house being burned to the ground, lol.

4. Who's going to see Ninja Assassin?
*raise hand again* Meee! My BF and I are thinking about dressing up like ninjas, too, lol.

5. Who's going shopping on Black Friday?
I'm still on the fence about this one. I'm actually done with all of my Christmas shopping, but my BF and I need a camera and we saw this really good deal on a GPS system at Wal*Mart. So we're tempted to go, just not sure if we'll actually make it.

Cosplay

My cosplay list is growing. I hope I am able to complete all of these costumes by the time con time comes around. An anime I've been watching is Katekyo Hitman Reborn! I'm in love with that anime, lol. There's a character named Bianchi that I'm adding to my cosplay list. Bianchi ---> [link] Looks like a pretty easy cosplay, right? I think I'll have a lot of fun doing this one. Did you know that this chick is dating a baby? Yes! This baby here! ---> [link] Is that crazy or what? Reborn is a cool little dude, lol. He's got some swagger, lol.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving. If you're going out Black Friday, don't get caught up in the madness. Still remember the true meaning for the season.
